April 2020 - AiGTS Student of the Month – Scott Henthorn – Merriwa Industries

Scott was working within one of our packaging divisions before transitioning across to the Safety Team last year. Scott is well respected within Merriwa and he is very approachable and easy to communicate with, hence our employees are drawn to him for his assistance and input. When Scott first started the Certificate IV in OHS he was very apprehensive, having not taken on study like this for some time. But Scott has excelled at the studies and I have been very impressed with the work he is doing and how he is transferring this into our workplace.

December 2019 - AiGTS Student of the Month – Jesse Lees – Larsen Engineering

His employer believes Jesse has shown an outstanding commitment to his studies and supervisor duties while working rotating shifts in a rapidly expanding and high-pressure environment. They’ve noticed Jesse is quick to apply his new skills and training to identify and suggest a number of process improvements, both technical and manual, some of which have since been successfully implemented. Jesse is determined to succeed!

Well Done Jesse!
